load_lvs_results

photonforge.load_lvs_results(path, *, engine=None, load_shapes=True, timeout=None, show_progress=True)

Read the results database of an earlier layout-versus-schematic comparison.

The database is read with the engine, as lvs_check() reads the one it produces, so the engine must be available.

Parameters:

  • path (str | PathLike) – Results database (.lvsdb for KLayout).

  • engine (str | None) – Verification engine, "klayout". None uses config.default_drc_lvs_engine, and when that is unset the first engine found.

  • load_shapes (bool) – Include the layout geometry of each net.

  • timeout (float | None) – Seconds allowed for the engine run.

  • show_progress (bool) – Show the elapsed time while the engine runs.

Returns:

Verdict, circuit comparisons, and both netlists, with an empty log and exit_code 0.
