load_drc_results

photonforge.load_drc_results(path, *, engine=None, max_results=None, timeout=None, show_progress=True)

Read the results database of an earlier design rule check.

A KLayout database is read with KLayout, as drc_check() reads the one it produces, so KLayout must be available. A Calibre ASCII database is read without Calibre.

Parameters:

  • path (str | PathLike) – Results database (.lyrdb for KLayout, ASCII .db for Calibre).

  • engine (str | None) – Verification engine, "klayout" or "calibre". None uses config.default_drc_lvs_engine, and when that is unset the first engine found.

  • max_results (int | None) – Load at most this many markers. A RuntimeWarning reports when markers are left out.

  • timeout (float | None) – Seconds allowed for the engine run.

  • show_progress (bool) – Show the elapsed time while the engine runs.

Returns:

Markers grouped by rule, with an empty log and exit_code 0.
