A semiconductor material is specified using the MultiPhysicsMedium, by setting its charge property to a SemiconductorMedium. The required parameters for the SemiconductorMedium are:
Density of States and Band Gap Energy#
N_c(PositiveFloat) β Effective density of states in the conduction band.
Units: cmβ»Β³N_v(PositiveFloat) β Effective density of states in the valence band.
Units: cmβ»Β³E_g(PositiveFloat) β Band gap energy.
Units: eV
Electron-hole Recombination Mechanisms#
Recombination mechanisms can include:
R(List) β Array containing the recombination models to be applied to the material.
Optional Arguments#
